Cooking

Food was an important part of a soldier's life.  During reenactments the 3rd US trys to be as authentic as possible in preparing and serving meals.   Everyone gets a chance to serve on the commissary. 

Cooking and preparing a meal over an open fire can be a challenge.  But over the years our unit has developed some award winning recipes.
